Recently the National and International Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) have been combined. 

CPC training courses are intensive and provide practical guidance in preparation for the external examination set by OCR on behalf of the Department for Transport.

General Details
The training course covers the whole range of the new syllabus for the Certificate of Professional Competence. The requirement for Goods Vehicle Operators to hold this qualification is contained in the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995. These regulations implement EU Directive 74/561 which includes a need for persons wanting to engage in the occupation of road haulage operations to be professionally competent.
