LGV Driver Training

TACL, in conjunction with the RTITB Academy, offers driver training. It is recognised training must be flexible to allow you to schedule it around your work or family commitments. With LGV Driver training that is exactly what we offer! You can train when it is convenient.

We also believe that you should not be restricted to a specific number of days or hours training which is why we offer you a free assessment. We do not make you train for longer than you need. Your existing skills and ability will be taken into account. There is still no obligation to train with the Academy at this stage. All you need is your provisional entitlement on your original driving licence in order to take a free assessment. (Licence acquisition forms are available from TACL or your local post office).

After the assessment your instructor will advise you on how many hours training may be needed to prepare you for your practical LGV test. You can then decide whether you want to train in blocks of 4 hour lessons when it is convenient to you or a block session so you complete your training as quickly as can. The team can give you details on availability and answer any further questions you may have about your training requirements.
